Andrew Hardie is the Area Chairman for Birmingham Heartlands and has been a prominent figure in local and national politics. He served as a Birmingham City Councillor from 2014 to 2018 and has twice stood as the Parliamentary candidate for West Bromwich West. Andrew has also held key leadership roles as a Constituency Chair before becoming the Heartlands Area Chair.
Beyond politics, Andrew is deeply engaged in his community. He is the Chair of Trustees at the Birmingham Crisis Centre and the Lapal Canal Trust, organisations dedicated to supporting local needs and heritage. Additionally, he serves on the General Council of the Stonehouse Gang, is an active member of Bournville Village Council, and supports community initiatives as part of Friends of Bournville Park.
